YouTuber Hikaru known for spending a lot of money says “I have no money right now”

YouTuber Hikaru made a guest appearance on the official YouTube channel of “Repezen Foxx” and revealed that he was currently “out of money”.

This was a surprise admission from one of Japan’s top YouTubers who is known for flaunting his money and spending a lot of it. But many professional YouTuber’s in Japan, as well as all around the world have said they have seen a decrease in Youtube monetization as well.

Hikaru was asked to build a villa in Thailand by DJ Four. But he refused , saying, “Seriously, I don’t have money right now. I don’t really have money.” Hikaru immediately replied , “1,200,000 yen.”

Hikaru commented on the reason for the “lack of money”. Hikaru said, “In 2022, I spent too much money. Compared to the previous year, (shooting costs) increased by about 60 million yen, and we traveled too much. We are a crew of seven people. I’m going to travel by plane with something like that, but everyone is also on business class,” a surprising confession.

“Three of us traveled to Japan’s three major ramen shops (Fukuoka→Hokkaido→Fukushima), but the transportation cost alone cost 800,000 yen. That’s why I’m going to keep all the hotels around 50,000,” he said , “but it’s not good for me to ride on business class with the members riding economy?” and talked about cutting costs.
