AKB48 member Okada Nana to graduate on April 2nd

AKB48’s Nana Okada (25) started her first solo tour at Fukuoka City’s long-established live house “Drum Logos” on the 27th.

She announced her graduation in November last year, and on this day announced that she will hold her graduation performance at the AKB48 theater in Akihabara, Tokyo on April 2nd.

On the same day of the previous day, a Hanamichi was prepared for a solo live performance at the local Kanagawa Kenmin Hall.

The songs on the tour consisted entirely of 48 group-related songs arranged for band performances. Okada chose the songs herself to express her gratitude to the group that she had been with for about 10 and a half years since her theater debut back in July 2012.

Okada said, “I thought about (the songs) with the feeling that I would leave after saying ‘thank you’ with a flag of my own heart”.
