Former SKE48 member Oba Mina and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks pitcher Ishikawa Shuta are married

Former SKE48 talent Mina Oba updated her Twitter on the 28th and reported that she got married to pitcher Ishikawa Shuta of the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.

“At this time, I would like to announce that Ishikawa Shuta and Oba Mina have registered their marriage. We will build a family together. We are what we are because of everyone’s support. We will continue to work hard without forgetting our gratitude and original intentions. Thank you for your continued guidance and encouragement”.

Oba, who is affectionately known as Minarun, joined AKB48 in September 2009 as a member of the ninth generation along with Shimazaki Haruka. She was active in Team 4 (Captain) and Team B, and started concurrently with SKE48 in 2013. She made a permanent transfer in 2014.

In the “AKB48 Senbatsu General Election”, she moved from outside the range in the 2nd round to 35th → 57th → 48th → 56th → 27th → 22nd → 26th, and in the 10th, she was ranked 8th. Her first general election selection. She graduated from the group last April.
