Actor Odagiri Joe and Sakurazaka46’s Yamasaki Ten co-starred in the role of father and daughter. In the making movie, there were comments such as, “It’s amazing that it was made with human power so far”.

“Father and Daughter” is a 12-year story about the relationship between a parent and child, set in a train on the Sotetsu Line, that changes from elementary school to high school graduation, such as childhood, adolescence, and rebellion. At the beginning of the film, the father responds, “It goes by so quickly,” to his young daughter who complains that it’s too far to go to school by train.

In the ending scene, where the father called out to hisdaughter, who eventually went on to a university in Tokyo, “Tokyo is far away”, and the daughter returned to her father’s train line exactly as it used to be.

In addition to Odagiri and Yamasaki, a total of 50 father-daughter casts from 6 to 46 years old appear in the video as the years change. More than 200 crew members participated in order to realize a “50-person one-shot video” that was filmed entirely by human power.

In the behind-the-scenes making-of video, Mr. Odagiri, who appeared as the “first father” at the beginning, completed his makeup in just 10 seconds and performed 30 behind-the-scenes work in order to reappear as the “25th father” at the climax.
