"Jikou Keisatsu" drama series returns for the first time in 12 years

Odagiri Joe and Kumiko Aso are returning for a new season of “Jikou Keisatsu” (Time Limit Investigator), the first time in 12 years.

Back in 2006, the drama about Kiriyama Shuichiro (Odagiri Joe), an information management officer at a prefectural police station and has an interest in cold cases which have gone past the statute of limitations. While the suspect cannot be charged even if they were caught, Kiriyama and his assistant Mikazuki Shizuka (Aso Kumiko) investigates without permission with the sole purpose of confirming who the culprit is and giving them a “I won’t tell anyone” card to them.

A second season was created in 2007 titled “Kaette Kita Jikou Keisatsu” continuing the adventures of Kiriyama and Mikazuki.

And now TV Asahi will reunite the two once again for a third season slated sometime this year.
