Miduki Katase (26), a gravure idol and finalist of “Miss iD2022”, died on March 21st.

On the 26th, her agency announced on her official Twitter. Katase Miduki died at the age of 26 The affiliated office announced in a document, “March 21, 2023, Miduki Katase passed away suddenly. It is with great regret that I send this news to everyone. I am in a state where I am still unable to accept the reality of the sudden news of her passing.”

It was also mentioned that her funeral was held only by her immediate family, saying, “Relatives and staff are still in the midst of grief. I would like to ask the media to be considerate of the relatives’ who are in deep grief. I sincerely ask for your continued support”.

Katase’s mother posted, “Everyone, thank you for supporting Katase Miduki. It’s hard to accept it. I’m doing my best to say this. Please understand. Mizuki’s Mother”. Her mother posted, “I feel like every cell in my body is dying”.

Many of Katase’s model friends are mourning her passing. Kuramoti Yuka wrote, “I pray for her soul. I can’t believe I won’t be able to see the cheerful and hardworking Mitsun again”.

Shimachi Aki wrote, “She worked harder than anyone else, was cute and funny and laughed at a lot of silly things. It’s still too much for me to accept. Rest in peace”.
