Nogizaka46 member Ikeda Teresa will study at Tokyo University of the Arts

Fifth generation Nogizaka 46 member Ikeda Teresa announced that she will be going to Tokyo University of the Arts.

She continued, “She has been in love since she was a student, and it is a place that she has thought about many times. I decided to announce this because I thought it would be very important for me to continue working with Nogizaka46. I made the decision after consulting with the staff,” revealing the background to the announcement. Over the past year, I’ve come to realize just how wonderful people are around me. At the same time, I received a lot of encouragement from the managers who arranged an irregular schedule and the staff who worked with it. Thank you so much for your kind words. When I passed the audition for Nogizaka46, I gave up going on to college. I never thought that I would be able to receive such kind support.Thank you so much to everyone.From now on, please let me repay you a lot”

Ikeda added, “And everyone who found me in Nogizaka46 and who always supports me. Everyone who may finds me in the future and fall in love with me. Thank you for everything. You know, I love you all, and Nogizaka46 is more important than anything else.I wanted you to know that, so I’ve been doing my best for the past year. I would be happy if this was conveyed to you, and I want you to understand my determination towards my future. From now on, I want to do my best so that I can balance my activities in Nogizaka46 and my university life. I want to aim for it.
