Former AKB48 member Okada Nana receives slander/negative comments on her Instagram

Former AKB48 member Okada Nana updated her Instagram story on May 21st and the singer received negative comments on her nose.  Some writing that her nose looks strange, her nose is in a strange shape and how her profile looks unusual.

On May 11, Okada reported that she underwent surgery for deviated nasal septum. “It’s a disease that makes my nose crooked and gets worse with rhinitis. I was diagnosed with that, and I’ve been suffering from nasal congestion and rhinitis for many years, so I decided to undergo surgery.”

When she revealed her story, she also discussed about the progress after the operation, such as “I can only breathe through my mouth, so breathing is quite painful. It was really hard to remove the bones to cure the rhinitis and the inside of the swollen nose. I’m sad and regret it, but if it’s cured, I won’t be suffering from rhinitis anymore, so I’ll do my best for now”.

From February to March, Okada released YouTube cover videos of songs by singer Nakashima Mika and Ieiri Leo. This story post is a screenshot of the comments that were sent to the video.

Most of the comments received on these videos are about Okada’s songs, but some of them say, “Your profile is strange. Also slander. Regarding this, Okada explained, “It’s a strange shape, but I haven’t had any plastic surgery,” while calling out, “I want to do it, but I haven’t got the courage yet. Please tell me if there is a good way to change it”.
