Former AKB48 member Suzuki Mariya marries Golden Rules' Nemoto Yu

Former AKB48 member Suzuki Mariya (32) announced on her SNS on the 4th that she got married to Yoshimoto Kogyo’s comedy duo “Golden Rules” Nemoto Yu (38).

The couple released a joint statement which were posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Nemoto Yu and Suzuki Mariya will be getting married at this time. We are both from Saitama Prefecture, but we met by chance in Hokkaido, and after a long friendship period, we became like a close friend with whom we could talk about anything, and now we want to become a family. I will devote myself to delivering an even more mature image in the future so that all the important fans who support me will continue to support me. There are a lot of things that I can’t reach both publicly and privately, but I would appreciate your guidance and encouragement”.
