Ame Byakuya, the leader of the underground idol group Kleinod, updated her Twitter account on September 9th. She reported that she was robbed in the dressing room of a live performance that took place on the 8th, and that she was left with only 1,000 yen and was no longer able to perform as an idol.

Byakuya explained that the 24,000 yen in cash that was in her wallet inside her bag was gone. While admitting that she wasn’t able to take care of her personal belongings, she said, “I only had 1,000 yen in my possessions, and not only was I unable to pay for my daily life, but I also had no transportation expenses, so I’m unable to pursue my idol activities. Right now, I’m talking with the management about how to proceed with my activities. I also want to remind other idols that we are in an industry where things like this happen. I hope that whoever committed the crime will never forget that they robbed me of my idol life”.

Meanwhile, the group’s operating account also reported this situation. “The person responsible for the crime has not yet been found, but through the organizers, we are identifying the group that used the dressing room at the same time”, indicating that the culprit was a member of an idol group who used the same live venue.

There were replies of what if it was not an idol but a staff member, Kleinod responded, “It is certainly undeniable that it could be a staff member. I apologize for the rude way I wrote it”.

The company also posted that it is considering seeking damages and suspending the group’s producer, asking for “responsibility for the lack of management and failure to build trust as a place to entrust valuables.” In addition, it seems that the producer may be the culprit and will be investigated.

In the replies to the series of announcements, there are even more doubts about how the management seems to be passing the blame on to the producers.
