B’z agency apologizes after seven people were injured at the dismantling of stage set in Fukuoka

On the 18th, rock band B’z’s agency apologized for the accident that occurred during the dismantling of the stage set after the band’s Fukuoka performance the day before, leaving seven people seriously and slightly injured.

The agency issued a statement titled, “Regarding an accident that occurred during the dismantling of the stage set after the Fukuoka PayPay Dome performance on Sunday, September 17th on B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2023-STARS.”

(Sun) Late at night after the Fukuoka PayPay Dome performance, an accident occurred where part of the stage set fell while the stage set was being dismantled. As a result of this accident, tour staff and part-time staff were injured and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and the scene was examined by police at the venue (seven people were seriously injured, and there were no life-threatening injuries to the injured staff).  We apologize for the inconvenience caused, but we plan to inform you about the recent decision to hold the Nagai performance on Tuesday, September 19th.  However, depending on the situation, there is a possibility that the announcement may be delayed. We kindly ask for your understanding.Due to the stage set being partially damaged and some tour staff and part-time staff injured, we are currently working on the Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai performance (September 21, 23, 24). ), we are carefully discussing and verifying the possibility of holding the event.’  We sincerely apologize for causing a great deal of worry and inconvenience to our fans, everyone who was planning to attend the Nagai performance, and everyone involved regarding this accident. We sincerely apologize. We hope and pray that all the the injured tour staff and part-time staff will recover as soon as possible”.
