Johnny’s Jimusho has removed the logo from their building in Akasaka.

The company logo, which had a “J” and “Johnny & Associates” written on it, was removed.

Around 10 a.m. on October 5th, the logo was surrounded by scaffolding for removal. The logo was lit up at around 6 p.m. for one final time and when it got dark, work to remove it began after 11 p.m.

At 11:13 p.m., workers with headlights appeared on the removal scaffolding began removing the office letter by letter, starting with the “J” in the office’s logo.

By 12:13 a.m. on the 6th, an hour after it started, the last letter “y” in “Johnny” was removed and the work ended.

At a press conference on the 2nd, the office announced that the company would be renamed “SMILE-UP.”
