As Johnny’s Jimusho is making the effort to change their name to “SMILE-UP”, the company announced that the logo on the head office building in Akasaka, Tokyo will be removed at the end of the day and changed.

A real estate source said, “The installation location is high and there are many letters in a place where there is a lot of foot traffic, so it probably won’t be easy to remove today or tomorrow,” and the work is expected to proceed with caution. The letter “J” and the “Johnny & Associates” logo are posted on the top of the 6th floor of Johnny’s Office headquarters.

The building is easily accessible, only a 1-2 minute walk from Tokyo Metro Nogizaka Station, and anyone can see it from Gaien Higashi Dori, making it a symbolic spot.
