VTuber special effects drama “Divine Tensei Senki VARZ” kickes off on December 25th

VAZ Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku) has launched a new YouTube channel “Shinka Tensei Senki” for fans of special effects all over the world. 12 teaser movies for “VARZ” (URL:https://www.youtube.com/@VARZsyncers) Published on Monday 18th.

This channel is a new channel with the theme of “New era special effects battle with VTuber x generation AI”. With a world view that combines VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality), you can go back and forth between the real world and the virtual world of VARZ. There, influencers become VTubers and fight against enemy monsters called “Spills”.

As YouTuber Production VAZ enters its 10th season, we will be sharing our experience in planning and operation that has supported creators’ YouTube channel production, the challenge of utilizing VTubers, and the introduction of video production using generative AI, which will become a trend in 2023. This is a new channel created using various human resources and tools.

A teaser movie and preview of the main story will be released on the “Shinka Tensei Senki VARZ” YouTube channel from December 18th (Monday) to 24th (Sunday), and the first episode will be released on December 25th (Monday) at 17:00. It is scheduled to be released in 00. Please look forward to the new channel that VAZ will confidently broadcast to the world!

The drama is directed by Kobayashi Daisuke.  Kobayashi said about the drama, “In 2023, video generation technology using AI, represented by WonderStudio, will evolve, making special photography and animation possible even on an individual level. Shinka Tensei Senki VARZ (hereinafter referred to as “VARZ”) leverages these ever-evolving AI technologies and combines the experience of VAZ’s short drama channel, which has been viewed over 500,000 times, with stories optimized for YouTube. By actively incorporating editing styles, we aim to create next-generation video content that reflects the changing times”.

“VARZ is also a YouTube special effects channel that depicts the growth and encounters of modern youth. After a talent belonging to our company was selected as the heroine of a special effects program, we decided to create content that would allow young people to create the heroes/heroines they admire on their own. Therefore, VARZ is produced in an omnibus format with different protagonists. Considering the characteristics of YouTube, we adopted a publishing style that allows first-time viewers to enjoy every episode. Our VTuber (VSyncer) offers a new world view that is different from the traditional concept, in which real people fight as VTubers”.

“In addition, VARZ does not purposely determine the future script in detail, but instead aims for content that will be widely developed through collaboration with influencers and creators.
