Akanishi Jin and Kuroki Meisa announced their divorce on Christmas Day

It has been announced that singer Akanishi Jin (39) and actress Kuroki Meisa (35) have divorced. Each reported on their own Instagram stories.

Akanishi and Kuroki jointly released a joint statement, “At this time, my husband and I have decided to change the form of our partnership and go our separate ways as husband and wife. Family will continue to be our top priority, and we will continue to put our top priority on our parents. We will build a new type of partnership with each other as friends and with even more love”.

“We are currently living together peacefully, so we hope that you will continue to watch over us warmly”.

The two married in February 2012 , and their first daughter was born in September of the same year, and their first son was born in June 2017.

There have been speculation by fans on social media that there was signs of trouble when the two, who often wore their wedding rings, stopped wearing them.
