Ogura Yui released a statement towards malicious stalking behavior by fans

Voice actress Ogura Yui’s staff updated X (Twitter) on February 15th and released a statement. In response to the malicious behavior of some fans, she said, “We will revoke the right to participate in any future events”, and “If we confirm that they are attending, we will immediately report them”.

Malicious stalking behavior has been confirmed against Ogura since around 2023, and in some cases, “we have already reported the case to the police and taken legal action after requesting disclosure of the caller’s information”. It is said that specific legal measures are being taken.

“In the future, if we do not see any improvement in the malicious stalking behavior, we may be forced to cancel the event or live performance, putting the mental health and safety of the person first. Those who repeatedly engage in stalking will be stripped of their right to participate in any future events. In addition, in cooperation with the police, we will immediately notify you if we are confirmed to have attended the event”.
