Utada Hikaru’s radio program “Tres Bien! Bohemian!” will return for one night after six years

It has been announced that singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru, who is releasing her first best album, will be reviving her legendary regular radio program “Hikaru Utada’s “Tres Bien! Bohemian!” for one night only in April.

Utada made a shocking debut in December 1998 with the single “Automatic/time will tell” and released their first album “First Love” the following year (released in March 1999), setting a Japanese CD sales record that still stands today.

After “Hikki’s Sweet&Sour” and “WARNING HIKKI ATTACK!!”, the radio program “Hikaru Utada’s “Tres Bien! Bohemian!”, which was broadcast for about a year from October 1999, was broadcast on the unusual 5 JFL network (FM NORTH WAVE, J -WAVE, ZIP-FM, FM802, CROSS FM) and became a hot topic.

Even after the regular program ended, special programs were broadcast in 2001, 2003, 2009 and 2018, the year of the 20th anniversary of her debut. This time, the radio program will be making a comeback for the first time in about 6 years. The program focuses on talking about his latest songs and recent recommended songs. A special website has also been opened to solicit listener messages.

Utada celebrated 25 years since her debut in December 2023, and her recent activities include releasing her 8th original album “BAD Mode” in 2022.

In 2024, a new song “Nashiro na Hana” will be released on February 12th. The song will be performed for the first time on TV on February 26th on the TBS music program “CDTV Live! Live!”. And in April, she will be releasing her first best album “SCIENCE FICTION”. It has also been announced that she will hold her first national tour in six years, titled “SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024”.
