Popular “Shonen Jump” manga “Ruri Dragon” to be serialized again starting in March

The manga “Ruri Dragon”, which has been suspended since August 2022 in Weekly Shonen Jump, will be published in issue 14 of the same magazine on March 4th, and 5 chapters will be published in the digital version of Weekly Shonen Jump and Shonen from April 22nd. It was announced on the work’s official X (formerly Twitter) on the 21st that it would be published every other issue of Jump+.

The series will be resumed for the first time in about 1 year and 7 months from Weekly Shonen Jump issue 14 released on March 4th, and episodes 7 to 11 will be published every week. From April 22nd, the 12th episode will be transferred to the digital version of Weekly Shonen Jump and Shonen Jump +, and will be published every other issue.

This work is a serialized one-shot that was published in the special issue of “Jump GIGA”, and the voice comic has been viewed a total of 2 million times on YouTube.

The main character is a girl who suddenly wakes up in the morning with a horn growing on her head, and is revealed to be the child of a dragon and a human. After that, she goes to school and is surprised and teased by her friends, a story that loosely depicts her daily life as a dragon girl.

Serialization began in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in June 2022, but in August of the same year, it was reported that the series would be suspended for a while due to the poor health of the author, Shindo Masaoki.
