KinKI Kids member Domoto Tsuyoshi will be leaving SMILE-UP., deletes all past Instagram posts to start anew

KinKi Kids’ Tsuyoshi Domoto (44) announced on the 22nd on a paid membership site and his own Instagram that he will be leaving the former Johnny’s office (SMILE-UP.), which represented him for over 30 years.

Tsuyoshi, who recently gotten married to Momoiro Clover Z’s Momota Kanako (29) in January of this year, will be making a new start in his professional and private life.

On the fan club site, he said, “Today I have a report to make to everyone. Regarding my personal activities, I will end my contract with my agency at the time of contract renewal on March 31, 2024, and move on to a new field in my life. I have decided to move forward”.

Regarding the reason for his decision, he said, “In order to move forward as an artist from now on, I decided to make a major change in his environment. I feels it’s necessary. And this Love Me + will also be reborn”.’

Upon his departure, he sent a message saying, “I’m so grateful for the life I’ve had in my life, and I will continue to make his heart beat in his future days too. Every body says love!!! Every body says funk!!!”

Domoto also announced his departure on Instagram along with his new visual. He deleted all his previous posts, changed the icon and started anew.

Meanwhile, his KinKi Kids partner, Domoto Koichi (45) updated his blog and wrote, “`What the two of us have in common is that we respect each other’s feelings, and that our activities will continue to deliver. That’s all there is to it. I think there are many people who are worried about the changing environment, but I will continue to work with gratitude for being able to change in a positive way”.
