Kudo Shizuka talks about her feelings about having gray hair

Singer Kudo Shizuka (53) released a video of her applying makeup for an album shoot. She revealed her true feelings about gray hair.

Kudo has previously referred to gray hair as “whitey” on Instagram and has expressed her true feelings. In March 2022, she wrote, “I get along pretty well with Whitey. I can’t help it. He comes to me on his own’, and in October 2022, she wrote, “I can’t even pretend anymore…I have to dye it”, she posted.

In April of the following year, she introduced her unique method for dealing with gray hair, saying, “Adding just a little bit of subtle blue is basically a countermeasure against white hair”. On April 7, 2024, in her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “I’m doing an album shoot in my 50s”, and in a video, she talks about her gray hair while doing makeup, saying, “Basically, it can be a pain to dye my gray hair every time. I feel like I’m just trying to hide it”.
