A completely new anime version of “Ranma 1/2” has been announced! A special PV announcing the anime’s production has been released! A big announcement event will be held on July 17th!!

It has been decided that Takahashi Rumiko’s manga “Ranma 1/2” will be made into a completely new anime!  Takahashi Rumiko’s works include “Urusei Yatsura,” “Maison Ikkoku,” “Inuyasha,” “Rinne,” and “MAO.”

In 2017, Takahashi’s comics sold over 200 million copies worldwide.

In 2018, The Will Eisner Comic Industry Award, USA inducted into the Comics Hall of Fame (The Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame) at Winner of the Grand Prize at the 2019 Angoulême International Comics Festival in France.

In 2023, she was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters “Chevalier” by the French government and is currently active worldwide.

This work, “Ranma 1/2,” was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from issue 36 in 1987 to issue 12 in 1996.

It is a masterpiece that still enjoys immense popularity today.

The story begins when Genma Saotome and his son Ranma, who had been training in China, arrive at the Tendo family home.

However, what appears there is a giant panda and a cute girl?!

After training in China, Ranma learned that when he pours water over himself, he turns into a woman, and when he pours hot water over himself, he turns back into a man.
