What happens when Kimura Takuya tries ICHIRAN for the very first time?

Actor Kimura Takuya updated his YouTube channel on February 8th. He praised a ramen shop he visited for the first time while at a concert, saying, “It’s incredible,” and “People will line up for this!”.

Kimura will hold a nationwide tour, “TAKUYA KIMURA Live Tour 2024 SEE YOU THERE,” in 2024. The video, which was shot the day after his performance in Fukuoka in December, starts with Kimura, whose entire body is said to be in great shape, carrying staff members heading to a certain location.

As it was well past lunchtime and he was starting to feel hungry, Kimura was suddenly asked by a staff member about the famous ramen shop “Ichiran.” After pondering for a while, he replied, “…it’s on Meiji Dori in Harajuku, right?”, suggesting that he had never been to the shop before.

Following the recommendation of the staff, Kimura visited “Ichiran no Mori,” the store’s manufacturing base and tourist spot in Fukuoka Prefecture. He was surprised by the vast space outside the facility, and after touring the noodle factory and the “Tonkotsura Ramen Museum,” he decided to eat ramen with a soft-boiled salted egg at the restaurant.

Since this was Kimura’s first time at Ichiran, he stuck to the “basics” when ordering almost all of his preferences.

When the ramen was brought to me, I was a little confused, saying, “Wow, it smells really good…” and “The noodles are so smooth, why?” However, once I started slurping, I couldn’t stop, and in no time the noodles in the bowl were gone.

He seemed so satisfied that he even high-fived the Ichiran staff member who had guided him, and nodded repeatedly as he praised the dish, saying, “Mmm, it’s delicious!” and “One bite that’s sure to please.”

After some hesitation, he asked for a refill, and in the end, having completely emptied his bowl, he was highly recommending the ramen at this restaurant, saying “This might be the first time I’ve ever had ramen where I got to try the soup,” and “Ichiran is amazing”.
