AKB48’s Yahagi Moeka denies tabloid report that she has a boyfriend

On the 9th, Weekly Bunshun Digital reported that Yahagi has a boyfriend.

Immediately tweets with photos of Yahagi and another guy were shared on SNS, one with her sitting next to a boy and putting her head on his shoulder and another taking a photo with the guy at Disneyland.

AKB48 members have a ban on relationships and many started to question Yahagi on SNS, prompting Yahagi to post on Twitter that the report was false.

Yahagi said that the person in question is not her boyfriend, but is a classmate. She went out with five female friends and saw her friend with his family who were also visiting Disneyland.

She asked her guy friend, the classmate, to take the photo of her and her female friend.

She wanted to clear the air and denied that there is any relationship and apologized if fans were upset by those rumors that were being disseminated on social media.

On June 9th, Yahagi said she was surrounded by reporters that she was scared and ran to the police station for help. She has been scared to leave the house and go to school.

She is shocked that “high school students” are sharing fake photos and she proclaimed once again that she is not in love and annoyed by the accusations. She is an idol and she is aware of the rules that come of being an idol.
