AKB48’s Kashiwagi Yuki has made her major announcement

Kashiwagi Yuki (28) has made her important announcement on November 13th at “Best Hit Kayosai 2019” (Best Hit Song Festival 2019).

Many speculated if Kashiwagi will be making an announcement that she is graduating from the group.  A few have speculated that she may be the next single’s center or will become the new manager of AKB48 Theater.

So, what’s the big news?  Kashiwagi announced, “I love AKB and idols, not graduation announcements.   So, I won’t graduate from AKB until I am 30.  There is not a single member who is 30-years-old in AKB, so I’ll do my best”.

The oldest member to graduate from AKB48 was Kojima Haruna back on April 19, 2017.  Kashiwagi will turn 30 on July 30, 2021.
