[UPDATE] A magnitude 6.1 earthquake has struck the Osaka region in western Japan. Three people are confirmed dead. More than 230 others are reportedly injured. The Shinkansen line that runs from Tokyo to Osaka has resumed operation after service was partially suspended. But local trains are still being affected stranding thousands of passengers. The Meteorological Agency is warning to watch out for another big quake in the next few days. A few entertainers have posted on how the earthquake has affected them or their families.

実家からの電話で起きました。
物が落ちるくらいの大きい地震があったから
東京は大丈夫か?とのことでした。
急いでニュースを見ると
大阪で震度6弱なんですね。。

I was surprised because I don’t have much experience with a big earthquake but I was surprised because there was nothing fell down in the hotel room. Everyone in Osaka and people in the affected areas, hopefully no one is injured. The railways have stopped, the epicenter in Takatsuki is still experiencing aftershocks and I am worried. I hope no big earthquakes will happen again. I am OK in Osaka as I went along with my manager”.
