Haruka Ayase wins Oricon Leading Actress Award, wants to do more intense action scenes

There was no doubt that Ayase Haruka upped her game as an actress.

One of Japan’s most popular actress and model that you’ll often see on television, film and on magazine covers, Haruka Ayase appeared in the action-packed, fall/ winter drama “Okusama wa, Tori Atsukai Chui” (Caution, Hazardous Wife) in which she played the character, Nami, a loving housewife.

But in truth, the housewife was a former assassin and now with friends in deep trouble, she’s thrust back into the scene, using her skills to save her friends.

Ayase was recently interviewed by Oricon and said she would like to do more action scenes like running on a car, jumping over buildings and taking part in an intense Hollywood action scene.

Ayase trained in the Indonesian martial art, Kali Silat for the role and the hard work of training was quite evident in the drama.

And if Ayase Haruka intends to do more action drama or films, we no doubt can’t wait to watch it!
