Ayase Haruka’s TBS drama “Gibo to Musume no Blues” episode 7 achieves a 15.1% rating

Ayase Haruka’s TBS drama “Gibo to Musume no Blues” (Step-Mother and Daughter’s Blues) episode 7 achieved a 15.1% rating on August 21st, another increase in ratings since episode 6 which received a 13.9% rating on August 14th.

The drama has continued to rise in the ratings in the past three weeks.

The drama will be the first time Ayase will play the role of a mother-in-law.

The drama is about Akiko (Ayase), a career woman who is a head of professionals and uses business terms in frequent everyday conversation. She is marrying a man named Ryoichi (portrayed by Takenouchi Yutaka) who is a salaryman who works for a rival company and he has an 8-year-old daughter.

Akiko has overcome many challenges, but can she prepare for her next challenge, to raise a child and do housework?
