Ayase Haruka and Takenouchi Yutaka’s TBS drama “Gibo to Musume no Blues” (Step-Mother and Daughter’s Blues) episode 10 finale achieved a 19.2% rating on September 18th. Since the beginning of August, the drama has been increasing in ratings each week.
It was also announced that the DVD and Blu-ray release of “Gibo to Musume no Blues” will be released on February 6, 2019.
The drama is about Akiko (Ayase), a career woman who is a head of professionals and uses business terms in frequent everyday conversation. She is marrying a man named Ryoichi (portrayed by Takenouchi Yutaka) who is a salaryman who works for a rival company and he has an 8-year-old daughter.
Akiko has overcome many challenges, but can she prepare for her next challenge, to raise a child and do housework?
