Inohara Yoshihiko and Udo Yumiko to graduate from NHK’s morning program “Asaichi”

NHK has announced that V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko (41) and NHK’s chief announcer Udo Yumiko (48), hosts of the NHK morning program “Asaichi” will graduate in March.  While their successors are yet to be decided, the two have worked on the program since March 2010.

Inohara said, “As for graduating, I felt this was the right timing for me to take on a new challenge.  I hope everyone supports us in the future.  I am grateful to everyone, Asaichi’s friends and also to our caring viewers.  I hope for the success of  Asaichi and will now watch as part of the audience”.

Udo said, “Everyone who has watched ‘Asaichi’, thank you very much for supporting me every day.  I will face my love for ‘Asaichi’ in the best way to the end with Inotchi, so that the program can come up with the best form for next year.”
