Michishige Sayumi and Tanaka Reina celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut as sixth generation Morning Musume members

In 2003, both Michishige Sayumi and Tanaka Reina made their debut for Morning Musume.

Michishige graduated from Morning Musume and Hello! Project in 2014, while Tanaka Reina graduated from Morning Musume back in 2013 and focused on her rock band LoVendoЯ.

While it’s been a few years since the two had done anything together for fans, the two good friends celebrated their 15th anniversary of their debut as part of their 6th Generation (6ki) fan club event.

Both Michishige and Tanaka have celebrated their anniversaries of their debut for the “Morning Musume 6-ki member Michishige Sayumi & Tanaka Reina Fanclub Event” which began back in 2013.

Both officially spent 10 full years with Morning Musume, while Michishige, who graduated in 2014, became the last remaining sixth generation member of Morning Musume and the last member of the “Platinum Era”.  M

ichishige was also the longest serving Morning Musume member at 3,920 days (surpassing member Niigaki Risa who graduated with 3,919 days served).

Michishige blogged about the the 10th year anniversary back in 2013 and Tanaka blogged about the 15th year anniversary.  And we hope to see them together once again for their 20th anniversary in 2023.
