4,846 fans pay for a full-page ad on the Asahi Shimbun morning paper to show their love and respect for Amuro Namie on her retirement day

Amuro Namie retired from the entertainment industry on September 16th.

Fans wrote, “Today Amuro Namie is celebrating the day of her retirement.  Although we are feeling lonely, we are happy”.

A total of 4,846 fans participated in the crowd funding of full-page advertisement.

The full-page ad cost Y15 million and they were able to raise the money before her retirement.

The first side featured are thank you messages, while the remaining three feature the names and words from fans who contributed.
