Amuro Namie Official Website, Fan Club, Online Store and Facebook to end on September 30th, final message posted

For over two decades, Amuro Namie’s website has kept fans up-to-date on the Queen of Hip-Pop.  But with her retirement on September 16th, it was announced that the official website, the official fan club, the official online store and the official Facebook page will be shutting down on September 30th.

Amuro Namie wrote a final message on her website:

Thank you always for your support.

I retired today on September 16th.

I have spent day-by-day carefully during the past year since I announced my retirement.

I think that my fans have various feelings about me going forward with retirement, I am sincerely grateful to the kindness of fans who have supported my decision with a smile right to the end.

Thank you again to the fans for supporting me during these 25 years, I support you.  Thank you once again.

I am delighted that I could be a singer who was close to the hearts of fans for 25 years.

Everyone who has supported us, “Thank you for 25 years”.
