Perhaps Utada Hikaru was taking a two year hiatus on taking any selfie photos and posting it on Instagram but the pop star posted a selfie of her wearing an Alliyah t-shirt. Her first time posting a selfie (with her face in the photo) in two years which many Japanese media are reporting.
Fans appeared to be shocked that Utada posted a selfie including her face:
“It’s so rare to see your face.”
“At first I thought it was a cute girl and then I realized it was Utada-san”
“You are as beautiful as ever”
It must be a slow news day.
