IZ*ONE News: New IZ*ONE trailer featuring the group shopping in Japan, Sakura’s final HKT48 handshake event for the next 2.5 years

We are a week away from the official music debut of IZ*ONE and just a few days away from the group’s reality TV show, “IZ*ONE CHU”.

In the latest teaser, on the day of Jo Yuri’s birthday, the teaser shows the group in Japan at a department store and Miyawaki Sakura showing Jo Yuri “Crayon Shin-Chan” merchandise but also Sakura and Jang Wonyoung surprising Jo Yuri with something…

Meanwhile, Sakura spent time with her HKT48 fans for her final HKT48 handshake event, as she will be focusing her activities complete on IZ*ONE for the next 2.5 years.  The three J-LINE members returned to Korea today.

As for pre-sales of “COLOR*IZ” in Japan, pre-sales are going strong as both albums are #3 and #4 on the Tower Records Japan charts:

IZ*ONE (pronounced as “Eyez One”/IZ=12 and the meaning is 12 members coming together as ONE) features Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, Ahn Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju and Lee Chaeyeon.

The 12 members are the finalists of Mnet’s “Produce48” which began with 48 trainees from South Korea and 48 members of Japan’s AKB48G (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48).
