Voice actress Hanamori Yumiri and agency deny false Twitter account claim

Voice actress Hanamori Yumiri (known for her voice acting roles for anime such as “The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater”, “Overlord III”, “Rolling Girls”, “Ace of Diamond”, etc.) was shocked to find out that someone went online and created a Twitter account, pretending to be Hanamori’s sister and posted rumors of her cohabiting with voice actor, Shioya Fumiyoshi and how upset she was.

When the poster was confronted by commenters, the person denied it and then deleted the Twitter account.

Her agency m&i posted the following statement:

Last night, a person pretending to be a relative of Hanamori Yumiri, a voice actress from our company, was spreading false information.  We can confirm that the information spread were not the facts.

This situation has affected our artist and her relatives.  If such actions continue in the future, we will deal with it.  These acts can damage the image of actors and affect the quality of their work.

Yesterday, Hanamori took to Twitter:

I heard a very sad story from my manager awhile ago.  I have a lot of work, so I’m confident in my strength to be strong but it is very shocking that someone tried to get my family involved.  I’m fortunate that my sister laughed and encouraged me and said, “Don’t mind this”.  I hope this will never happen again.  I will continue to do my best tomorrow.

Hanamori posted afterward:

I apologize for all those who are concerned.  Thanks to your support and words of encouragement, I will continue to do my best and become a better voice actor.  Thank you for your continued support.
