NGT48’s Nakai Rika, Tano Ayaka and Nishigata Marina respond on Twitter of being falsely accused of involvement in Yamaguchi Maho’s assault

Nakai Rika, Tano Ayaka and Nishigata Marina responded on Twitter of those accusing them of involvement in the Yamaguchi Maho assault.

Since Yamaguchi announced on Twitter alluding to a member leaking her information which led to her being assaulted, fans have been trying to uncover which member(s) may be responsible.

It began with fans looking into NGT48 members that Yamaguchi did not follow or those who did not follow her on Twitter.

Members that were not followed or unfollowed were besieged with hateful comments by fans who believe they were responsible for hurting Yamaguchi.

Several names were posted and one who has received the harshest comments was Tano Ayaka:

Tano released the following on Twitter today that she had nothing to do with it but also explaining why she missed a recent NGT48 event.

Her aunt took to Twitter to tell people she had nothing to do with it and commented on anger of the misguided comments and also someone saying they wanted to burn her family’s home.

Meanwhile, Nishigata Marina also responded on Twitter that she was not involved. Because she is being asked to speak out, she went to Niigata police and borrowed a police’s phone to tweet:

Nakai Rika is upset of people accusing her and other members of involvement with the assault:

Nakai is upset of the libelous (false statement damaging a person’s reputation) comments towards her.

Nakai wrote, “There are no facts than what has been officially announced. Members have no involvement, names that have been mentioned are not involved too. Stop being rude! Realize what you are doing, so stop it! If you don’t believe them, then don’t support them”.

Nakai also wrote, “In the media, I have been singled out. I am not involved at all.  What they are saying in speculation is hurting everyone. Without proof, members are becoming prey on the net. I have a lot of things to say, but I’m not saying anything anymore”.
