Ichimasa Kamaboko Co., Ltd. announced on January 15th that they will stop broadcasting NGT48 commercial.
Since 2015, NGT48 has been appearing in commercials for the company featuring Ogino Yuka and Nishigata Marina.
The company went so far in deleting the commercials featured in the TVCM gallery of the company’s website.
According to a statement posted on the website, the company said, “Thank you very much for your continued support of our products. Regarding the airing of our company’s commercial featuring NGT48. We received very important opinions from our customers. Thank you. For the matter of NGT48, we have not been able to confirm facts beyond what was reported in the press at this time, but we will accept your comments seriously and will refrain from broadcasting the NGT48 CM. All employees will continue to make efforts to offer products that customers will be pleased in the future. We appreciate your continued support”.
