AKB48’s Muto Tomu has passed the weather forecaster exam

AKB48 Team K member Muto Tomu (24) has passed the weather forecast examination.

The weather forecaster test has an average passing rate of 5.5% and is rare for an active idol to pass the test.

Muto challenged the examination and even went to (and graduated from) college at Seijo University (for five years) while as a member of AKB48 to become a weather forecaster.

On the AKB48 show “AKB48 Nemosu TV”, Muto was shown with a postcard if she was accepted or rejected.

And after 1700 days of studying for it, Muto has officially passed the examination and took to Twitter to share the good news:
