Theater version of “Final Fantasy XIV Hikari no Otosan” to be in theaters on June 21st, GLAY’s “Colors” music video was released

Back in 2017, the drama “Final Fantasy XIV: Hikari no Otosan” (Final Fantasy XIV: Father of Light) was released on Netflix and was watched by many people in 230 countries.

And now a film version will be released.  As the previous series featured the late Osugi Ren, the film version stars Yoshida Kotaro and Sakaguchi Kentaro as father and son.  The film also stars Yamamoto Maika, Sakumi Yui.

The film features two directors.  Noguchi Teruo directed the live action portion, while the video game portion is directed by Yamamoto Kiyoshi.

And today, GLAY’s music video for “COLORS” was released. The song is the theme for the theater version of “Final Fantasy XIV Hikari no Otosan”.
