TBS to broadcast “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN” on September 25th

TBS will be broadcast “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN”, the survival audition show in which a final group will be decided by viewers.

“PRODUCE 101” is a popular program broadcasted on Korean channel Mnet and became a social phenomenon.

The show starts with 101 people who pass through various challenges and depending on votes by audiences (known as “National Producers”), only a number of people make it to the next round.

In Spring of 2019, Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd., MCIP Holdings Co., Ltd. and CJ Entertainment, jointly launched “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN”.

The show received 6,000 applications and the 101 trainees have been decided.

The show will will broadcast after midnight (24:01) on September 25th.

The final battle will determine the final eleven members and will broadcast live in December and will be hosted by comedy duo, Ninety-nine.
