Miura Haruma and Nogizaka46’s Ikuta Erika to star in “Whistle Down the Wind” musical

Miura Haruma and Nogizaka46’s Ikuta Erika to star in “Whistle Down the Wind” musical from March 7 to March 29, 2020 at the Nissei Theater.

Based on the novel of the same name, the novel received a film adaptation and the song song “No Matter What” by Boyzone was #1 on music charts in 18 countries.  Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman created a commercial adaptation in 1996.

Ikuta plays the role of Swallow, a girl who saved kittens that were to be drowned.

As she goes to feed the kittens at the barn, a bearded man jumps out and when she asks who he is, he says “Jesus Christ” and collapses.

Along with two other kids, each of them promise they won’t tell anyone of the man they found and each believing he may be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile, the townspeople are hunting down a killer.
