Nogizaka46’s Ikuta Erika (23) canceled her appearance on TBS’ large live special program “Music Day” on July 18th. Ikuta was scheduled to perform “Disney Songs Top 10 Covers Chosen by Fans”.
On the official website, it was announced that Nogizaka46 member Kubo Shiori would be her substitute due to Ikuta’s poor physical condition.
Ikuta co-starred with Miura Haruma in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Whistle Down the Wind ~Immaculate Eyes~” in which Miura was to play a man who broke out of jail and Ikuta would play the role of a pure girl who believed the man was a reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
The performance was to take place as Nissei Theatre in Tokyo from March 7th to the 29th but due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the performance period was significantly shortened.
