Fans still continue to gather to celebrate the Iida Kaori - Maeda Yuki no "Otona no Tanabata Matsuri" Higaeri Bus Ryoku

Back in 2007, it was an event that shook fans to the core.

The “Iida Kaori – Maeda Yuki no “Otona no Tanabata Matsuri” Higaeri Bus Ryoku” is a bus tour which began on July 7, 2007.

It was promoted as a big fan event for former Morning Musume member Iida Kaori and Hello! Project singer Maeda Yuki.

The event attracted many fans because it was to offer a lot of meat for lunch and many fans decided to participate in this first tour.

But on the evening of Friday, July 6, 2007, a minute after the fans departed on the bus, the tour crew announced the news to the fans that Iida Kaori was pregnant and that she was going to marry former vocalist Kenji of the rock band, 7HOUSE.

The first car was quiet, while the second and third cars gave Iida good blessings.

Once Iida and Maeda arrived to the location, many fans gave Iida good blessings and they all took a group Polaroid photo together.

And at lunch, they had barbecued meat at the park and Iida and Maeda would go to each table and chat and have a toast with fans.

Fans who attended the bus tour continue to gather at a park, on the same day every year for a barbecue as an anniversary to the bus tour.
