Kawaguchi Haruna selected to replace Sawajira Erika for NHK’s Taiga drama “Kirin ga Kuru”

NHK has announced the replacement of Sawajiri Erika (who was arrested last week for possession of the synthetic drug, MDMA).

Actress Kawaguchi Haruna (24) was announced as Sawajiri’s replacement and will be her first time taking on the challenge of a historical drama.

Filming will begin in early December and she will appear from the first episode and will reshoot all scenes which featured Sawajiri.
