FOORIN wins the grand prize at the Nihon Record Taisho for “Paprika”

The kids of Foorin has won the grand prize at the Nihon Record Taisho held on December 30th for “Paprika”.

The award makes the group the youngest to win the award at 11-years-old.

The previous youngest artist to win the award was “Amuro Namie” (19) for “Don’t Wanna Cry”) in 1996 and AKB48’s Iwata Karen who was a member of AKB48 for the song “Manatsu Sounds Good!”.

“Paprika” is a song written and composed by Yonezu Kenshi.
