AKS seeks damage compensation of millions of yen from the men who assaulted former NGT48 member Yamaguchi Maho

AKS (now known as Vernalossom), which managed NGT48 based in Niigata Prefecture filed a lawsuit back on April 2019 seeking damages of millions of yen. The two male fans who were accused of assaulting NGT48 member, Yamaguchi Maho have settled with AKS, which the company said the two men are responsible for causing loss of trust in the group which led to the group suspending activities.

According to the attorney, the two fans submitted an apology to AKS and settled to pay several million yen.  In their apology, the two male fans acknowledged they had went to Yamaguchi Maho’s home at the time and knocked on her door.  They also acknowledged that no other NGT48 members were involved in the incident and will no longer participate in any AKB48 group events in the future.
