AAA’s Nishijima Takahiro (Nissy) donates 10 million yen to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine

Vocalist and AAA member Nishijima Takahiro updated his Instagram story on April 25th and reported that he donated 10 million yen ($93,010 US) to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine.

Nishijima wrote, “I have made the decision to personally donate 10 million yen to the National Center for Global Health and Medicine.  Having a close family member that is involved in health care, I can easily see the severity of the situations in hospitals.  I want to be able to help doctors and nurses who are doing their absolutely best to help those who are in need.  They could be risking their own health as well”.

Nishima also emphasized for people to refrain from unnecessary outings and to work together to overcome this situation.

Nissy wrote, “Please keep in mind that we should all take equal responsibility to stay inside, to prevent the spread of the virus.  I know this can be extremely stressful, but I hope we can all come together to get through this as a whole”.

Nissy has participated in volunteer activities such as the earthquake of 2018 in Hokkaido,  the typhoon damage in Chiba in 2019 and he also donated Y100,000 in January to those who were devastated by the fires in Australia.
