Long Mengrou (romanized as Ron Monroe) has become a popular talent due to her similar looks with actress Aragaki Yui. And now Ron Monroe will now be on “TERRACE HOUSE TOKYO 2019-2020” and will be appearing in episode 42.
Monroe’s success is an amazing story as she comes from the eight-largest minority group in China, the Tujia people and was born in a small farming village in the Xiangxi Tuji and Miao Prefecture in the northwest of Hunan province in southeastern China.
Her village has only 165 households and very few left to go to college. While attending college, she had dreams of become a singer and received offers after taking the top spot on the China Central Television audition show, “Come, Cinderella” but in respect for her parents, she continued with her education and graduated from Shanghai Ocean University.
Monroe has appeared on various Japanese publications, the NTV drama “Love Run” and also released a CD single in Japan.
