“TERRACE HOUSE: BOYS & GIRLS IN THE CITY” cast members Nagai Riko and Endo Masako comment on Kimura Hana’s death.

Nagai wrote on her Instagram Story, “I learned about Kimura Hana on the news and my heart is aching. I understand a little of her feelings. She really must have been suffering… It’s not right that one should have to receive hateful comments from nameless, faceless people on SNS. These hateful comments can overwhelm someone even when they try to wash it away. We are all human. Have you never been told anything hurtful before? I imagine you have to, at least once. Think about how you felt at that time. It’s too late to realize this now that she is gone… It’s very sad. Let’s rethink how we use SNS so this never happens again.”

Endo Masako took to Twitter and wrote, “I am sad and can’t think of the words to say. If SNS is the cause, I don’t know if this is the right place to convey how I’m feeling but I hope this sad event will never happen again”.

悲しくて言葉もでない。

この気持ちを伝える場所もここが
正解なのかわからない
どうかこの悲しい出来事が二度と
おきませんように。
