The Broadcast Ethics and Program Improvement Organization (BPO) has announced on Sept. 16th that they will determine if there was a human rights violation in the death of “TERRACE HOUSE: TOKYO 2019-2020” cast member Kimura Hana (22).

Kimura Hana was targeted by hate comments on SNS due to what transpired on the program and took her life on May 23rd.  Her mother Kyoko (43) accused “Terrace House” staff that they they were told to do certain things on the show.  Fuji TV announced that their investigation shows that no one from the production side instructed or forced performers on the show.  This led to Kimura Kyoko to file a complaint with the BPO.
